HALF MARATHON

The half marathon will start at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 5, 2010.

Entry Fee

Early (through June 28)           $40
Late (after June 28)                 $50

The Course

The race will start and end in downtown Brighton on the east side of Grand River at the corner of E St Paul Street and N East Street (near last year's finish line).  It will consist of mostly paved, mostly flat residential roads; a few modest hills to add a little challenge and dedicated water stops, mile markers and course monitors.

The course will close on a continuous pace of 14:00 minutes per mile. Anyone who cannot maintain the 14:00 minute per mile pace must move to the side of the road as the course closes to allow regular traffic through. Runner services cannot be guaranteed for participants beyond the 14:00 minute per mile pace.

Runner Amenities
All early and regular registered participants will receive a commemorative Tech shirt, goodie bag, and a raffle ticket for the Duck Race ($5 value). Shirts not guaranteed for late entries; late entries will not receive Duck Race Raffle tickets.

Registration Policies
Please read carefully before registering for any event(s).

1.      No refunds or transfers.

2.      Participants unable to participate may pick up their runner packet or they may have someone else pick up their packet for them.

3.      Participants unable to get to packet pick-up may have someone else pick up their packet for them. Their representative must show a copy of the participant's photo ID and a note authorizing the representative to pick up the packet in order to claim the packet.

4.      Participants may switch races. They must notify the Hungry Duck office by e-mail or US mail of their request by June 1.  Any request after that date will incur a $10 processing fee.

Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at Runnin' Gear
Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Runnin' Gear

RACE DAY - Monday, July 5, 2010 from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM at the start/finish area (St. Paul just East of Grand River)

Race Day registrations and packet pickup will cut off promptly at 6:30 AM. YOU MUST BE IN LINE NO LATER THAN 6:30 AM TO REGISTER ON RACE DAY.
